EDWARD WESTON

Edward Weston was renowned as one of the masters of 20th century photography. His legacy includes several thousand carefully composed, superbly printed photographs which have influenced photographers around the world for 60 years. whilst researching this photographer i found that he takes photos of things that interest him. In the sense that life is created through the very image. when taking the photo he aims to capture the object in its purest form. He aims to have the object look as it is, but be more than it is.
in my assignment i aim to do this very thing. i will be focusing on my hand, however in different situations, in doing this the hand will look like a hand but it will be something else. for example a hand hand washing dishes would be a dish washer.
