John coplans is a photographer of whom isn interested in the human form, mainly on old human form. Coplans photographs his own naked body section by section-close up, twisting and squidging parts of his body, creating an abstact piece. Whilest also documenting the sadness of aging. He uses the flaws if his body to create unexpected shapes often to create a vision of animals or a landscape than a human body. In his hand photos he uses different gestures to give off a range of connotations. this photographer is one of which could be very useful for progress towards my final outcome, looking closer at the dynamics of the hand, to further portray the sense of more than just a hand.
Looking closer at these photos i could see that the hands were portrayed as indipendent living things. i could somehow incorporate this in my final out, by posing my hand in such a way that would make it seem like an independent organism, personifying the hand.
